BIO

Having his interest piqued early through a family friend Niall supplemented his income while at school by working holidays in the plastering workshop. Following on he worked in several workshops. Finally ending up working for Smith & Henderson on The Hugh Lane Gallery, Dublin City Hall and throughout Leinster, Ireland before leaving for Scotland to obtain his NVQ Plasterwork, at Telford College, Edinburgh.

After completing his education Niall continued to ply his trade in Scotland working from highland estates to The National Gallery, Edinburgh, and many other building sites learning his trade. Returning to Ireland in 2006 he worked on Dublin's Georgian and Victorian buildings and the surrounding stately homes on the East Coast. In 2011 he relocated to Spain where he managed the conservation and restoration of the stucco in Casa Bures, Barcelona. Also restoring 16th century village houses in Catalunya.

Most recently Niall has been based out of Berlin, Germany. Traveling there in January 2020 to work on the film set of The Matrix and Uncharted in Babelsberg Studios. In his time in Germany, among other projects, he has restored a final entry passage to the Berlin Schloss and made installations for exhibitions and events.

Currently between Berlin and Barcelona and looking forward to bringing the next idea to life.
